FEELING UN-Happy at Your Job? DO This...
“Just give it to me.” 😂
Thats not a thing
I usually ask "What task is the most challenging in this role?"
$1000! Ai can edit your resume for Free!
Job interviews are like our high school syllabus, we never would face those scenarios on the actual job like it’s just a gateway to get into a good school with your grades 😂
I will be 70 in a few weeks. I have a job interview next week. I know most people are retired by my age, but I can't afford it yet. Where do I see myself in 5 years? I would hope I could hopefully retire or step down to part-time by then, but that's not a great answer and who knows if can even be a reality? It's an internal job. Mine got eliminated. I have been with this company for 13.5 years.
i like your style DUDE!
Super helpful! Thank you!!
I've gotten a job by not having questions. Multiple times
I asked for the job and still haven't heard anything three days later. The last time I waited a week and sent an email it was a sorry, NO. So anxious right now.
I phrased it differently though, saying in a joking way anything stopping you giving me the job? Looking back maybe its a bit presumptuous, but it was well received, the director said he needs to propose it to the shareholders and the wage and I'll hopefully be in touch. The hope is what kills you.
"So many job-seekers...." Yup
So happy I'm never bringing my unborn into this fake, pretentious world
Absolutely bullshit corporate culture
Thats bullcrap😂
Don, you're an excellent, passionate and relevant communicator! Thanks for this and I feel more confident about my next job interview.
In general, you should lie in an interview because interviewers don't like the truth.
Bad advice, especially if you're going for a technical position. If you don't know the answer to something - be honest.
You talk about what happened and the solution.
I always have 4 questions ready
Remove anything that sounds intelligent. Only stupid ones get hired now. Lol
Hes missing the bulletin point section.
i liked your vibes bro very natural aspect i liked your know how and wasn't forceful or manipulative. Great content and delivery BRO! I am gearing up and preparing for a great job interview. Doing some research on the company foresay. I wanna put my best foot forward!
Just let AI DO IT.
Just want to share, Lots of persons have anxiety! And they will probably be GREAT employees. And not enough persons with neurological disorders are being hired enough and that is contributing to the homeless population. Everyone can do something, everyone can work even with a neurological disability, Or even a developmental disability. So hire more persons with disability. And they won’t become homeless! We can work too!
Customer Service and Sales training in person and taking an exam and receiving a certificate will help you get the job, because that certification goes on your resume. I received the certificate and I was hired before by Goodwill for the trainee position before I received the certification. And I also learned a lot during the Customer Service and Sales training and that is important and I showed up everyday of the training and I was on time, I was punctual. I am very good at being punctual and answering why I want a job.
Most important thing is to ask for the person who hires
thank you
thank you very much
The "No" is in your pocket, so why not giving it a try if it feels right?
It would be nicer if you had shown us his actual resume before and after the correction.
My questions for them if an entry level role: how long has this position been vacant? Is your organization growing? What does upward trajectory generally look like here? How many managers here started their careers in entry level roles? They either offer me a position on the spot, or I never hear from them again in which case I know they have a high turnover rate/I've dodged a bullet.
I had something similar to his client. I had a supervisor throw me under the bus for a mistake I made. He was covering for his own incompetence. I was blindsided and wasn't allowed to defend myself. Just two months before, I had an exceeds expectations review and the month before, the same person who fired me, sent me an email confirming my raise and stated that I was doing a good job. I saved that email and the performance review.
Excellent!
never ever ever ever inform a new employer that you were terminated for any reason... that is the fastest way for your resume to get thrown directly into the garbage.
you sir are amazing!!! im always very intimidated with interviews but your videos give me so much confidence. :) thank you for making these videos.
at the end of my interview I asked when can I start 😅
I did this and got hired lol guess i was lucky
Hope this help me 🙏🏾
Hmmm.... "It was a great company, I liked my job, I liked my boss, I liked working there - I'm looking for more responsibility". Horrible thing to say because it's obvious it's a lie - why would I leave a job if I really liked it??
One of best videos I watched in all of my job interviews and I got all jobs and just getting better job opportunities
Number 5 question Answer: None so far. 😅😂
This job im applying for said in their JD that we are not looking for a culture fit we want you bring your own culture and experiences to the role and not conform to ours
This seems more like philosophical approach but I liked the way, you answered!
Thanks Don for sharing these valuable tips.
hi don
Well, yeah..that’s true and all but. What do I say when they ask “Why do you want to work here?” “I’m very passionate about not starving to death.” Most people mainly work for money. Hobbies in ones free time is something else. My point is if they offer me a job and I want the money. It’s irrelevant if I have any questions for them. To me whenever I see ‘now hiring’ I’m expecting them to hire me when they’re looking for positions to fill. It reminds me of the book What Color Is Your Parachute. Boles says employees do everything on applications and resumes to get hired. And employers do everything not to hire you regardless of your actual skill for the job or not.
Thank you for the advise
Thank you very much for this valuable information! I appreciate it!! Cheers!
Recruitment process is 110% BROKEN!!!😂😂😂
